THE LAND OF ONAT

President-elect Barack Obama is urging Congress to postpone the Feb. 17 switch from analog to digital television broadcasting, arguing that too many Americans who rely on analog TV sets to pick up over-the-air channels won’t be ready. LINK

Since Barry got elected we have all been forced into a parallel universe. This universe is devoid of reality but it’s where liberals live. Liberals who think we can just print up trillions of dollars and spend our way out of economic problems. I call it ONAT (Obama NATion).

In ONAT the sun always shines, people never get cold or go hungry or lack medical care. A check is always just around the corner, and you can have a big fancy house even if you can’t pay for it.

And now even TV is going to be free. While the countries economy is in the tank team Obama managed to take the time to ask for a delay in the start up of digital TV scheduled for Feb 17. (Thank God it didn’t interfere with the inauguration). The reason? Compassion of course:

Obama transition team co-chair John Podesta said the digital transition needs to be delayed largely because the Commerce Department has run out of money for coupons to subsidize digital TV converter boxes for consumers.

Yes kids you see in ONAT even TV will be free. Yes …we…can!
