GRAND JURY TO INVESTIGATE KENSINGTON FIRE

We are following breaking news right now in the fire that killed two Philadelphia firefighters. Sources tell fox 29 exclusively a grand jury will investigate that five-alarm fire that fire took the lives of lieutenant Robert Neary and firefighter Dan Sweeney.

Tomorrow, sources say, district attorney Seth Williams will call for a grand jury investigation into what went wrong and if anyone is to blame. Typically, grand jury investigations aren’t announced, but our sources tell us that given the nature of this case, it’s important to let the public know what’s going on. LINK

One Response to GRAND JURY TO INVESTIGATE KENSINGTON FIRE

  1. Wyatt Earp says:

“… and if anyone is to blame.”

How about the mayor and his cutbacks? Nah, Williams will never investigate that if it were the case. This city has always been reactive as opposed to proactive. L&I could have handled this ages ago, but they dropped the ball. Now – after firefighters are dead – they want to launch an investigation. Disgusting.

    Just my $0.02.
