CAR VENTILATES PHILLY SALON

What is it with cars crashing through buildings lately?

A minivan came to rest inside a Philadelphia beauty salon after a crash on Wednesday morning. It happened in the 7600 block of Castor Avenue in the Rhawnhurst section around 11:45 a.m.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed the entire van inside the salon with a number of police and firefighters on the scene. At least one injury has been reported from the scene. L&I has been dispatched to check the stability of the structure. (LINK)

Maybe the driver was aiming for the Holy Land Grill?

And NOW the excuses begin… sigh… Foot on wrong pedal once again…

Now THIS is certainly a “WTF???” moment.
Back in the day, this would NEVER occur, and that area was part of my old stomping grounds.
The R 75 trackless trolley used to roll right by there.
And Grandma lived a block off of Castor.

We are seeing WAY too much of this of late.

    Stay safe.

If more businesses would install drive-thrus, this kind of thing wouldn’t happen so often.
