Reporter Arrested For DUI After Party At Sandusky’s Lawyer’s House

NBC News correspondent Jay Gray was arrested for drunk driving after he attended a party at the house of the attorney for accused child molester Jerry Sandusky, TMZ reported Tuesday. According to the report, Gray was pulled over after drinking at the Pennsylvania residence of attorney Joe Amendola, who had apparently invited a slew of reporters over to watch the Giants-Cowboys game last week.

The Harrisburg Patriot-News reported Monday that Amendola wants Sandusky and his wife, Dottie, to appear in an exclusive network interview.

An arrest record obtained by TMZ said the traffic stop occurred at 1:45am ET on Monday, Dec. 12 Gray, Amendola and NBC have not commented on the report.Gray has been in State College, Pa., covering the Sandusky scandal since the former Penn State defensive coordinator’s Nov. 5 arrest. Sandusky, 67, has pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing 10 boys over a period of 15 years.

In case you ever wondered why I hate reporters so much this story should suffice. This NBC reporter has been covering the Sandusky case, supposedly objectively. Yet we learn that when he’s not doing on scene remotes he’s partying it up with Sandusky’s lawyer and other so-called objective members of the press in hopes of getting an exclusive interview. Utter horse shit.

I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts that had he not been caught, this same reporter would have continued reporting on this story “objectively” and skewing his coverage all the while. This pisses me off because so many “journalists” in the MSM are nothing more than creeps and left-wing assclowns who think nothing about injecting their personal opinions into what is supposed to be impartial journalism. After all the media is protected in the Constitution and rightly so. A free and impartial press is critical to the function of democracy. But many reporters are ignorant of the reasons for these protections and their own duty in return for that protection. The think nothing of lying or making things up or trashing someones reputation just to further their own careers.

This is an outrageous conflict of interest, and a breach of journalistic ethics in my opinion. As far as I am concerned this reporter no longer has any credibility and should be yanked from this story period.

And they talk bad about bloggers.

I wonder if the lawyer diddled the reporter beforehand? What? Just sayin’.
