A woman protester at the Occupy Philadelphia encampment at City Hall was raped in a tent, allegedly by a man who had traveled from out of state to join the protest, police said. The suspect was arrested almost immediately after the alleged attack, and the woman is with the police Special Victims Unit. The alleged rapist is reported to have been arrested multiple times in connection with a string of armed robberies in Kalamazoo, Mich., officials said. LINK
The left-wing “Occupy” movement is now in its death throes and predictably that means a lot of violence. From the beginning this movement has been a source of organized mayhem, violence and anarchy all thinly disguised as legitimate protest. In fact it was never about that. The “Occupy” tantrums have never had a single, coherent message or popular support. The biggest protests gathered no more than a few thousand people at their height but most drew only a few hundred. Some like Philly only a few dozen. Yet the violence is out of proportion for a similar sized event staged anywhere else. Some estimates of the violence in New York indicate a crime increase of 20% in the vicinity of “Occupy” New York. Swell.
The obscenity of this whole spectacle is not only the obvious violence: rapes, assaults, theft, all manner of illegal public displays of vulgarity, drug use and even a few murders, but also the insane amount of money most of these already cash-strapped cities have to spend on these illegal gatherings. Philadelphia is always dealing with budget shortfalls. Schools, public safety, you name it and funds are short. Yet weak-kneed or worse SUPPORTIVE, ENABLERS like Mayor Squidward here in Philly are responsible for allowing these disturbances to get out of control. Now cops and other public safety workers have to go into these filth strewn camps and forcibly evict these lawless assclowns. I have nothing but contempt for the Mayor and Police Commissioner who allowed this disgrace to go on in our city.

Nutter does not need the media to make him look bad. But in the City of Entitlement he will look bad just for crushing the egg crate sized demonstration. But I will not bet on who will be the next mayor!
