VERIZON SUSIE- CAPITALIST PIGLET

How funny is this commercial? In thirty seconds it sums up perfectly what America and capitalism stand for. Little girl Susie starts a lemonade stand. With some help and encouragement from her family she works hard to follow her dream. Her one stand becomes wildly successful and before you know she adds more. Susie in turn hires her friends in the neighborhood (creates jobs) and expands. She turns her single stand into a chain and builds an empire along the way. She pays taxes to the government and so do her employees. The economy expands and the quality of life improves. People get jobs, customers are served and Susie does what she does best… administer her lemonade empire. The hippies and anarchists of the “Take Back Wall Street” mob should take a lesson from little Susie. In our society hard work and perseverance eventually pay off. Hiding out in mom and dads basement, smoking weed, playing video games and complaining doesn’t.
