TOO WHITE, TOO MALE...

 

WHITE MEN NEED NOT APPLY…

Monday, the Military Leadership Diversity Commission (MLDC) released a report stating that there are too many white men in the highest ranking positions of the military.

The report was presented to the U.S. military by order of Congress under the 2009 National Defense Authorization Act seeking to increase diversity.

The report stated, “The commission’s recommendations support two overriding and related objectives: (1) that the Armed Forces systematically develop a demographically diverse leadership … and (2) that the services pursue a broader approach to diversity that includes the range of backgrounds, skill sets and personal attributes that are necessary to enhancing military performance.”

According to the report, 77 percent of the senior officers on active duty are white, eight percent are black, five percent are Hispanic, and 16 percent are women, and the MDLC believes this is unacceptable.

“Leveraging diversity as a vital strategic military resource will require the commitment, vision, and know-how of leaders at every level. Without this commitment to instill respect for diversity as a core value, the needed cultural change may not take place,” continued the report. LINK

Yeah, because we obviously have trouble winning wars. I mean we all know that the discredited liberal concept of “diversity” will actually make us MORE efficient at and capable of killing terrorists. Hell, why not just put CODE PINK in charge of combat operations? For the record ,what is the CORRECT NUMBER OF WHITE MEN ALLOWED TO GET PROMOTED TO GENERAL? WHAT IS THE QUOTA?

Imagine substituting ANY other color for white in the above article and ANY other bureau or agency for Military. This insanity will only lead to the lowering of standards so that those who otherwise can’t compete can advance. We see it every day and all it does is DESTROY organizations from the inside out.

Maybe it’ s time white families start counseling their children against joining the military if they can’t be sure that the best and the brightest will be leading them into battle. “Diversity” only serves to make weak people feel good about their surroundings and themselves as opposed to actually performing at the highest possible level. The only thing that should drive who gets promoted in our armed forces (or anywhere else for that matter) is who is the best possible candidate for the job. Period. Anything else is a fraud perpetrated on society. “Diversity” is NOT a vital military resource. KILLING BAD GUYS IS. Get it?

Probably not. But let’s see what a REAL LEADER HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS SUBJECT:

The Military Leadership Diversity Commission’s (MLDC) conclusion this week that there are too many white men in senior positions in the military “is a slap in the face” to those minorities who have achieved seniority, according to retired Lt. Colonel and Florida Republican Rep. Allen West.

According to the MLDC’s report, released Monday, 77 percent of active duty senior officers are white, 8 percent are black, 5 percent are Hispanic and 16 percent are women. The report suggested the lack of minorities in military leadership is something that needs to change. To that end, the commission’s report includes 20 recommendations on how to increase the proportion of minority officers in the military in order to create a fighting force that better represents the make up of the population it defends.

In an interview with The Daily Caller, West, who is black, was not pleased with the report, saying that the military is not a social experiment for outside groups to impose their theories. Rather, he said, it is a merit based organization where anybody can succeed. LINK

Colonel West is a true American hero, patriot and champion of core values that made this country what it is… or was. Thank you Colonel West for defending our country, our families and our way of life.

    Funny, we don’t think of the military as “diverse” as much as we think of them as the “best of the best”…

    Same also applies to POLICE and FIREFIGHTERS.

    Employ, enlis, and promote THOSE MOST QUALIFIED…period.

    That’s the way it SHOULD work.

    What a bunch of crap. And I thought we had been told by the leadership of the folks of color that the military was racist because minorities were being too heavily recruited? Which one is it? Too many people of color or not enough. These nut-bars have too much time on their hands to make up silly things to complain about.

    PS the census data is out for California and only 40% of the State is white and 37.3% is Hispanic. I would bet more than 40% of the boys in Afghanistan from California are white. Maybe we should make sure that our fighting forces reflect the population they come from. And to start with that would mean an immediate draft of women until half our military was made up of women since they are half the country.

    You can’t have it both ways.

        I have no worries about how I stack up against a POS like Charlie Rangel. He has defrauded the American people, disparaged his office and made a mockery of our country. There are many war vets who commit dishonorable acts. He is one of them.

    This has been going on for 40 years and has failed the whole time. Just hire,promote on who is best and forget about their color,gender,etc.!!

    Whites have done a better job accepting and living by the above quote; blacks seem to have difficulty with the premise.

    Yes, we do not have enough women and minorities in the officer corps. However, the military will NOT lower their standards. Instead, they will look and actively pursue qualified candidates.
