Here at FIRSTIN we are not afraid to call terrorism- terrorism or Muslim Terrorists MUSLIM TERRORISTS. Unfortunately our government officials aren’t some forthright.

In this video we have commentary from the most important person in the federal government, Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. She’s a train wreck. After a car bomb was detonated  (although it malfunctioned it was actually set off according to reports) in New York City’s Times Square, listen to her struggle with calling the attack what we all know it is: TERRORISM. She just can’t seem to say the word. No matter if it was domestic or international in nature, a car bomb BY DEFINITION is an act of terrorism. Car bombs are designed to cause indiscriminate death and destruction over a wide area. The internal motivation of the perpetrator is less than irrelevant to the definition. It is what it is.

The Secretary of Homeland Security is really the most powerful (unelected) bureaucrat in our government. As such she commands the vast resources of some twenty plus federal agencies including the Department of Defense when needed. This week we have seen two major incidents: the Gulf oil spill and the NYC bombing. There is no way that one person can be in two places at once. There is more than enough work supervising the Gulf oil spill never mind a major terrorism case.

Neither of these incidents has anything to do with the other yet they are both under the jurisdiction of the same agency. Instead of DHS focusing on what it knows best – SECURITY and FEMA doing what it does best, DISASTER MANAGEMENT, they are all thrown into a gigantic federal monstrosity, the Mother of All Bureaucracies, DHS. No wonder they booted the response in the Gulf. Read the following: FEDERAL RESPONSE PLAN NOT FOLLOWED

In a bonus sound bite that will just make your head explode, Napolitano further extolls the virtues of our ever-increasing border security! Can you believe that? She actually says the border security has IMPROVED over the last two years. Madam Secretary improved? From what non-existant to just plain shitty? Are you kidding me? This regime is completely and utterly incompetent of the most basic forms of governance from border security to disaster management to economic stability to whatever else you’ve got. We will be lucky to survive until November at this rate folks. I have to believe Steve Doocey was kidding when he asks her about her being nominated to the Supreme Court. Otherwise I would have to hurl myself into traffic.

Like I have said before, it is only a matter of time before these maniacs begin to pull this sh*t in American cities. If we can’t even correctly label the problem, call it what it is, how can we have any faith in our government to go after those responsible and protect the general public? The Obama administrations get soft approach to terrorism and national defense is starting to pay dividends, just not the kind we want to collect.

Somebody save us!

  1. Rick says:

Janet like her boss is a idiot.

  2. Silly, silly people. Janet was just trying to explain how natural it is to try to BBQ M-80s in a large public square,…no terrorism here,..move along,…move along!

  3. Raptor says:

No, Obama is not an idiot (though admittedly he can’t speak without a teleprompter). Every move, every action, every policy that he makes is carefully planned and (if applicable) choreographed. He is very, very smart. Which makes him very, very dangerous.

Ms. Napolitano, on the other hand, is an idiot. Actually, no, she’s so stupid that calling her an idiot actually insults regular idiots.

  4. Spock says:

The other one I liked was the Attorney General, speaking on whether the NYC car bomb should be ruled Terrorism. The clip I saw had him, quoted to the best of my memory, state “It’s too early to call this terrorism, though to be certain, the perpetrators surely had intent to cause terror.” WTF is terrorism then?

  5. John D says:

It’s not technically “terrorism” until the act can be linked to the tea parties or right-wing talk radio. Ms. Napolitano is just following her own agency’s guidelines.
