AS PROMISED, THE WINNER’S CHEERLEADERS. I HAVE TO KEEP RITT OFF MY BACK.
And so it goes. Another disappointing end to a season that should have been. The Eagles rallied in the second half and thoroughly dominated the Cardinals. Unfortunately, since Donovan McNabb didn’t show up until the second half they were already in a very deep hole. By then it was too late.
Notable points: The usually unflappable David Ackers left four points on the field. (How do you miss an extra point?) and had a dismal game. Just when we needed him most. Add those to the missed two-point conversion and the Eagles walked away leaving SIX points on the field.
Again McNabb’s stats will look great on paper, but as usual he comes up short in the big game. We are at the point where McNabb can’t generate a win with offense. He either depends on the defense to prop the team up OR he keeps playing tuntil the other team LOSES to them.
I’m for a regime change.
