MAYBE THE JUDGE WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS CROSS AS WELL…

Columbia, S.C. — A federal judge says South Carolina must stop marketing and making license plates that feature the image of a cross and the words “I Believe.”

A federal judge issued a temporary injunction during a court hearing Thursday after opponents said the plates violate the separation of church and state.

U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie said the case needs to be heard in court. In the meantime, the judge said the Department of Motor Vehicles cannot take any more orders for the plates. LINK

I guess this is why we need Federal Judges, eh? The license plates in question are vanity plates and you have to pay EXTRA to get one. They’re not issued to everyone, so what’s the problem? There is no claim to “Congress establishing a law recognizing any religion” which is the principle in play.

There is no separation of Church and state found anywhere in the Constitution. That is a concept dreamed up by idiot Federal Judges like this guy and taken to extreme lengths by azzclowns in the ACLU. This ruling means dopes with Dallas Cowboy license plates are still free travel wherever they want. Now what could be more offensive than that?

The State is clearly allowed to issue whatever license plates they want as a state license. This is why this country is in so much trouble. The tail is wagging the dog.

So while you can’t have JESUS on your license, you apparently CANĀ get the messiah!
